Funeral Mass for Betty Ann Hudgens of Simmesport will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 beginning at 10am at Christ the King Catholic Church in Simmesport with Rev. Paul Kunnumpuram officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 beginning at 5pm until 10pm at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport and will resume Wednesday morning at 8am until the time of service. Rosary wake service will be held Tuesday at 7pm. Burial will be held at Christ the King Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.

Betty Ann Hudgens, age 79, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at her home in Simmesport. She was preceded in death by her children, Donna Lemoine Kimble and Vernon Paul Lemoine; parents, Blume & Isabelle Ducote; siblings, Gloria Jackson, Shirley Dupuy, & Huey Ducote; grandchildren, Levy Jarrod Kimble & Ashley Ann Kimble.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 33 years, Joe Hudgens of Simmesport; siblings, Sylvia Mayberry of Simmesport, Bernice Maddie of Melville, Mary Lee (Freddie) Gautreaux of Houma, and Landry Ducote of Simmesport; granddaughter, Chantel (Mark) Kimble Adams of Prairieville; and great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Ashley Adams and Emily Nicole Adams.

The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice for the compassionate care of Betty.
