Cherlyne Armand

Funeral services for Cherlyne Gauthier Armand will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Cemetery in Cottonport.

Cherlyne, 74, resident of Cottonport, passed away, Sunday, August 22, 2021 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Adam Armand; parents, Euris and Lillie (Redmond) Gauthier; brothers, Irving Gauthier, Clyde Gauthier, Russell Gauthier, and Ray Gauthier and Murphy Gauthier; sister, Ella Mae Mitchel; grandsons, Chris Carmouche, Josey Whiddon and Case Dupuy; great grandson, Delton Diaville.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Debbie Carmouche (Jimmy) of Marksville, Troy Dupuy(Charlotte) of Cottonport, Vickie Whiddon (Tip) of Mansura, Tina Thompson (Darrell) of Baton Rouge, Jamie Armand (Casey) of Cottonport, and Jake Armand (Katie) of Cottonport; brother, Marvin Gauthier of Bunkie and sister Myrtle Lemoine of Simmesport. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren; half-sisters, Leona Bujol and Jackie Perkins and half-brother Pappy.

Pallbearers will be Justin Carmouche, Taylor Carmouche, Brandon Whiddon, Channing Whiddon, Adam Delucci, Ashton Dupuy, Blake Dupuy, Beau Armand, Russell Armand and Trey Victor Delucci.

Visitation will begin at 6:00p.m. on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in Escude’ Funeral Home of Cottonport and continue until departing for services on Wednesday.

A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday night beginning at 7:00p.m.
