Elias Guidroz, Sr.

Funeral services for Elias Joseph Guidroz, Sr. will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 beginning at 1:00 p.m. in Escude’ Funeral Home of Mansura with Reverend Keith Lamartiniere officiating. Burial will follow in the Lamartiniere cemetery in Fifth Ward.

Elias Guidroz, Sr., 62, resident of Hessmer passed away on January 29, 2022 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.

He was preceded in death by his son, Elias “Bubba” Guidroz, Jr.; mother, Antoinette Charrier Guidroz; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Guidroz; grandson, Draven “Dra Dra” Guidroz; and a brother, James Dale Guidroz.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 43 years, Margarette McNeal Guidroz of Hessmer; daughters, Antoinette “Peanut” (Nickey) Ducote of Bunkie, Michelle Lee “DooDoo” (Phil) Guidroz; son, Chad “Boy” (Danielle) Guidroz of Hessmer; father, Gilbert Guidroz of Hessmer; brother, Clinton (Becky) Guidroz of Moncla; grandchildren: Alicia Ducote, Austin Ducote, Weston Ducote, Destiny Guidroz, Conner Guidroz, and Payton “Pay Pay” Guidroz.

Pallbearers will be Chad Guidroz, Austin Ducote, Clinton Guidroz, Tra Gillespie, Nickey Ducote, and Luke McNeal.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of service in Escude’ Funeral Home of Mansura.
