Funeral Mass for Gerard Kelly of Hessmer will begin at 11:00am on Monday, July 18, 2022 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Hessmer with Fr. Edwin Rodriguez-Hernandez officiating. Entombment will be held at the St. Alphonsus Mausoleum in Hessmer.

Gerard Kelly, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, July 13th, 2022 at the Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria surrounded by his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Bobby Kelly; nieces & nephews: Sonya Kelly Durand, Sherrie Kelly Hodnett (caregiver), Stacy Kelly Brouillette, Stephanie Kelly, Shayne Kelly, Scott Kelly, Yvette Kelly Cunningham, Kasey Kelly Jones, Kristie Kelly Gaspard, & Brady Kelly; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Kelly and Diana Kelly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Rita Kelly; brothers, Shelly Kelly and Terry Kelly; nephews, Jody Kelly and Jeffrey Kelly.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers: Shayne Kelly, Ronnie Durand, Keith Hodnett, Scott Brouillette, Scott Kelly, Brent Cunningham, Jason Dupuy, & Gary Crosby.

Visitation will begin at 5:00pm until 9:00pm on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville and will resume Monday morning at 8:00am until the time of service.
