Funeral service for Irene Marie Ryland of Simmesport will begin at 11:00am on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport with Pastor Gilbert Barr officiating. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery in Simmesport.
Irene Ryland, age 91, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Robin Ryland of Lettsworth, Durwin Ryland of Simmesport, Lana Ryland of Baton Rouge, Cheryl Ryland of Simmesport, and Roxanne Ryland of Sulphur; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Ryland; parents, Wilbert & Adele Normand; brothers, Willard "Nene" Normand, Wilmer "Nanny" Normand, Floyd Normand, Irby "Bootsie" Normand, and Barron "Bobae" Normand; sister, Estelle "Doty" Myers.
Visitation will begin at 9:00am until 11:00am on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport.
