James Lemoine

Funeral services for James “Petso” Lemoine, age 88, of Simmesport/Lettsworth will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Escudé Funeral Home of Simmesport beginning at 10am. Visitation will

be held at Escudé Funeral Home of Simmesport on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 beginning at 5pm until 10pm. Burial will be at Christ the King Mausoleum.

James “Petso” Lemoine was born on January 12, 1924 in Plaucheville. He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Louise Lemoine; wife, Teressa R. Lemoine; sons, Jimmy & Daniel Lemoine; four brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca B. Lemoine; children, Ethel (David) Cooper, Jerry (Linda) Lemoine, Victoria M. Lemoine (daughter-in-law), Charles
& Thomas Lemoine, Stephanie (Raymond) Smith. Grandchildren: Paul (Tammy) Cooper, Tammy (Dan) McDaniel, Suzanna Marcantel, Jeremy (Crystal) Lemoine, Jamie (Tamara) Lemoine, Jennifer (Chad Erwin) Lemoine, Garrett (Elizabeth) Lemoine, Miranda (Michael) Stansifer. Great-grandchildren: Dustin (Erin) McDaniel, Steven McDaniel, Ashley Cooper, Addie Grace Marcantel, Dylan, Logan, & Colin Lemoine, Chloé Lemoine, Wyatt & Adeline Stansifer. Brother: Willie (Joyce) Lemoine.

Pallbearers will be Paul Cooper, Garrett Lemoine, Jeremy Lemoine, Jamie Lemoine, Dustin McDaniel and Steven McDaniel. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dan McDaniel & Michael Stansifer.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escudé Funeral Home.
