Memorial service for Shantell Gordon of Cottonport will begin at 11:00am on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura with Rev. Gary Ford officiating. Interment will be held at a future date.

Shantell Gordon, age 43, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at the Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Anthony Gordon of Lafayette; sons, Xavier McGlory of Cottonport and Keyon Pipkin of Cottonport; mother, Mary Pipkin of Cottonport; brothers, Kevin Pipkin of Cottonport, Jason Pipkin of Cottonport and Robert Pipkin, Jr. of Cottonport; sisters, Charlotte Pipkin of Cottonport, Sara Pipkin of Cottonport, Ebony Pipkin of Long Bridge, Sherita Pipkin of Marksville.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Pipkin, Sr.; maternal grandmothers, Evon Pipkin and Waver Lavalais; aunts, Merlene Lavalais, JoAnn Lavalais; and uncles, Billy Rae Pipkin and Russell Lavalais.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am until 11:00am on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura.
