Abbie Willis

Services for Abbie J. Willis, age 90 of Moreauville will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Marc Noel officiating. Burial will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Mausoleum under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Mr. Willis was a native of Cottonport and a retired Maintenance Supervisor for Gulf Oil and AgriCo Chemical Companies.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a navy veteran of World War II, and a member of the American Legion DucoteBordelon post.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mamie Ehrhardt Willis his parents, Doris Meade Willis three brothers, Meade L. Willis, Tyree Willis, and R. J. Willis three sisters, Mamie Lopez, Elda McLendon, and Doris Welch. Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Coco Willis of Moreauville two daughters, Suzanne Couvillion of Atlanta, GA and Abigail Melton of Dallas, TX one stepson, Stanley Parham of Moreauville and one stepdaughter, Marie Parham of New York, NY. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, three greatgrandchildren, three stepgrandchildren.
Friends may visit Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 8:30am to 11:00am.
Pallbearers will be E.J. Couvillion, Adam Melton, Jon Paul Melton, Drew Melton, Matt Black, Matthew Kennedy, Craig Parham and Stan Parham. Honorary Pallbearers, Alyese Couvillion Black, Morgan Couvillion, Lori Parham, Kyrle Roy, Robert St. Romain, Luke Welch, Willis Coco, Carl Coco, Bert Parham Sr., Bert Parham Jr., John Kersey, Sharon LeBlanc and Nathan Tankus.
