Funeral services for Abel Dee Tassin of Moreauville will take place at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville on Sunday, April 22, 2012, beginning at 11:15am with Msgr. John Timmermans officiating. A rosary will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church prior to the funeral service, at 11:00am. Burial services will commence at the Sacred Heart Catholic Mausoleum.
Dee Tassin, age 88, passed away at the Valley View Nursing Home of Marksville on Saturday, April 21, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Phillip Angela Rabalais Tassin brothers, Martin Tassin, Clyde Tassin, Carlton Tassin sister, Narcille Bordelon. He is survived by his wife, Perry Mitchell Tassin of Moreauville daughter, Alberta Bordelon and husband John of Bordelonville sons, Kenneth Tassin and wife Stephanie of Hahnville, Mitch Tassin and wife Mona of Mansura, Don Tassin and wife Debra of Mansura, Brad Tassin and wife Terri of Moreauville, Phil Tassin and wife Rowena of Moreauville. 16 grandchildren, 19 greatgrandchildren.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Stefan Tassin, Shannon Tassin, Justin Tassin, Triston Tassin, Hunter Tassin, Cody Gremillion, and Crossbearer, Chandler St. Romain.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
