Funeral services for Adam Benjamin of Moreauville will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the St. James Baptist Church of Moreauville, beginning at 11:00am. Visitations will also be held at the church prior to the funeral, beginning at 8:00am. Officiating clergy for the service will be Rev. Charlie Jones and the burial will take place at the St. James Baptist Cemetery. Adam Benjamin, age 86, passed away at the Northridge Care Center on Tuesday, October 6, 2009. He is preceded in death by his; wife, Mary Harmason Benjamin; parents, Frank Eunice Benjamin; and five brothers four sisters. He is survived by his; sons, Leonard Benjamin of Zachary, Herman Benjamin of Bordelonville, Jeffery Benjamin of Hessmer; daughters, Gretchen Francisco of Anaheim, CA., Emelda Benjamin of Carson, CA., Athena Miller of New Market, MD., Letonia Benjamin of Boyds, MD. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren thirteen great-grandchildren. Services and funeral arrangements are under the directions of Escude Funeral Home.
