Funeral services for Adam Ray Berry will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 beginning at 11:00 am in the Escude Funeral Home in Mansura with Rev. Darrell Sampson officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul the Apostle Cemetery in Mansura.
Adam Berry, 19, passed away on June 11, 2023 in Bunkie, LA. Adam was born on December 18, 2003 to Carla Berry and Adam Ray Francisco of Mansura, Louisiana. He received Christ at an early age. Adam also known as "Saw" by his family and friends enjoyed family gatherings and fishing. He was very close with his family; and family meant everything to Adam. Adam began a new chapter in his life when he moved to Alexandria, La with his Aunt Nakeisha to be closer to his job. Adam was currently employed at AFCO industry incorporated as a Paint Liner in Alexandria, La.
Adam leaves to cherish his memories his parents; Carla Berry and Adam Ray Francisco of Mansura; brother, Malik Berry of Simmesport; sisters, Spiritual Francisco of Mansura and Za'Quajah Francisco of Cottonport; step-sister, Shandrika Gordon of Mansura; grandmother Shirley Scott of Mansura; grandfather, Donald Williams of Dallas, TX; great-grandmother, Mildred Francisco of Mansura; a great-aunt, Veronica Berry of Mansura (who took him in as her son); three aunts: Nakeisha (Latharie) Sylvain of Alexandria, Tisha (Trey) Johnson of Lafayette, and Ebony Tyler of Dallas, TX; four uncles: Kenneth Patterson, Jr. and Matthew Wiggins both of Mansura, Bryan Wiggins of Simmesport, and Gerald Wiggins of Homer; three great-aunts, Laura Berry of New Orleans, Georgia Berry of Houston, TX, and Bennie (Sterling) Hayes of Mansura; four great-uncles: John R (Harriett) Berry, John G. Berry and Donald (Sandquenette) Berry all of Mansura and Lloyd Berry of California; special friend, Deletheia Johnson of Simmesport; godmother, Lawanda Thomas of Mansura; and numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Patricia Wiggins; great-grandparents, Roy and Mable Berry; great-aunt Gloria Howard, and great-uncle Vincent Berry.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2023 beginning at 8:00 am until the time of service in Escude’ Funeral Home of Mansura.
