Funeral Services for Alana Laborde will be held, Saturday, September 17, 2016 at St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church at 10am. Visitation will be Friday, September 16, 2016 beginning at 5pm-9pm at St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church.
Alana Laborde, 28, of Cottonport, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. Alana graduated from Bunkie High School in 2006. She graduated from LPN school in 2008. She dedicated her short life to caring for the elderly. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jerry Lee Laborde and her maternal grandparents; Allen and Louise Lacombe.
She is survived by her parents; Louie and Mary Laborde of Cottonport; sisters; Jenna Laborde, and Casey Laborde of Cottonport; grandmother Marie Laborde of Fifth Ward; Several Aunts and Uncles; Mark (Ann) Lacombe, Ilie (Peter) St. Romain, Pea Michael (Kathy) Lacombe, Carl (Terri) Lacombe, Susan (Gerald) Gunn, Tammy (Scott) Tassin. She will be missed by her numerous first cousins, Brittany Cannady, Tristen Tassin, Abby Tassin, Jason Lacombe, Sarah Richie, Rachel Normand, Allen and Arielle St. Romain, Michael Lacombe, Amanda Guillory, Claire Lacombe, Laura Lacombe, Tara Lacombe, and Carlee Lacombe and friends. Pallbearers; Zachary Guillot, Jacob Rabalais, George Cannady, Allen St. Romain, Michael Lacombe Jr., Jason Lacombe, and Cross Bearer Will Hemphill.
