Alban Poche'

Funeral services for Alban Verdie Poche of Mansura will be held on Friday, October 2, 2009 at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Hessmer, beginning at 3:30pm. Visitations will also be at the church, the same day, beginning at 1:00pm and lasting until time of the funeral. Officiating the mass will be Fr. Edwin Rodriguez-Hernandez. Burial will take place at the St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Alban Poche, age 75, passed away at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital on Friday, September 25, 2009. He is survived by his; wife, Verlyn Dupont Poche of Mansura; son, Dwayne Poche of La Place; daughter; Marina Poche of Slidell; sisters, Jenny Lee St. Romain of Hessmer, May Grace Dauzat of Innis and Juliette Bernard of Fifth Ward; grand-daughter, Nicole Smith. Arrangements and funeral services are under the directions of Escude Funeral Home.
