Funeral services for Albert Duplechin, Jr. of Cottonport will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 beginning at 2pm at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church of Plaucheville. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 beginning at 9am until 2pm at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport. Burial will be at the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.
Albert Duplechin, Jr., age 86, passed away at the Bayou Chateau Nursing Home in Simmesport on Thursday, April 11, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rose Mary Duplechin, his parents Albert Minnie Duplechin, his brother Devitt Duplechin, his grandson Jamie Dupuis and his greatgrandchild Zachary Dubea.
Mr. Albert is survived by his two sons, Ray Dupuis Cindy of Cottonport and Billy Duplechin Melissa of Cottonport four daughters, Sandra Dubea Kemeron of Marksville, Adele Anderson Don of Simmesport, Annette Canal Carlo of Cottonport, and Susan Rabalais Craig of Cottonport two brothers, Armand Bro Duplechin of Cottonport and Neil Duplechin of Simmesport and his sister Josie Poret of Cottonport. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren.
