Alice Hamsher

Funeral services for Alice Mae Hamsher of New Orleans will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Hessmer, beginning at 11:00am with Fr. Edwin Rodriguez-Hernandez officiating. Burial services will take place at the St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Alice Hamsher, age 87, passed away at the Touro Infirmary on Monday, December 7, 2009. She is preceded in death by her; husband, Ross Burnett Hamsher; parents, Oscar Laborde, Sr. Alice Laborde. She is survived by her; daughter, Donna Hamsher of New Orleans, Renita H. Phillips of Houston; nephew, Johnathon Laborde of Shreveport; brother, Oscar Laborde, Jr. of Shreveport. She is also survived by her 2 grandchildren. Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
