Alton Green

Funeral services for Alton Green of Marksville will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 beginning at 11am at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Plaucheville with Fr. Abraham Palakkattuchira officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville beginning at 5pm until 10pm and will resume Friday morning at 8am. Burial will commence at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Alton Green, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Eura Green; and two brothers, Joe Green & Calvin Green.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Shane Green of Plaucheville; step-daughters, Gloria Couvillion of Moreauville, Faye Lemoine of Moreauville, & Shari Bordelon of Simmesport; two grandchildren, Alex Green & Ethan Green; sisters, Nelly Womack of Augusta, GA, Bertha Jones of Jonesville, & Mary Thrasher of Brouillette; brothers, James Green of Lecompte & Johnny Green of Plaucheville.
