Funeral services for Amy Bordelon of Bordelonville will take place at the St. Peters Catholic Church of Bordelonville on Saturday, April 16, 2011, beginning at 11:30am, with Msgr. Steve Testa officiating. Visitations will take place at the St. Peters Church Hall of Bordelonville, prior to the funeral service, beginning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Peters Catholic Mausoleum.
Amy Bordelon, age 96, passed away at the Bayou Chateau Nursing Home of Simmesport on Monday, April 11, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Percy A Bordelon parents, Lamar Florence Pastor Normand sisters, Hazel Desselle, Eunice Brouillette brothers, Dallas Normand, Lamar Bob Normand, Amos Normand soninlaw, Adam Desselle. She is survived by her daughters, Janis Desselle of Bordelonville, Nancy Vezinat of Baton Rouge brother, Nathan Normand of Metairie grandchildren, Melissa Juneau, Bruce Desselle, Charlotte Deshautelle, Jake Vezinat, and also nine greatgrandchildren.
Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
