Anita Mckinley

Funeral Mass for Anita Cecilia McKinley of Mansura will begin at 10:00am on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Mansura, Louisiana with Fr. Irion St. Romain officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.

Anita McKinley went home to be with the Lord at age 97 on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Hessmer Nursing Home in Hessmer, Louisiana.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Michael McKinley of Saginaw, Michigan, Glenn McKinley of Mansura, La., Abrigale (Roland) Patterson of Marksville, La., Deberia McKinley of Mansura, La., Keith (Pamela) McKinley of Missouri City, Texas and Christina (Robert) Robinson Sr. of Mansura, La,; daughter in law, Shirley McKinley; sister in law ,Theresa Johnson; and goddaughters, Patricia Brooks and Stephanie Peudallu. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren & a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Willard McKinley, Sr; her sons- Willard McKinley, Jr., Garrett McKinley, Sr., Arnold McKinley; her parents- Walker & Eugenia Johnson; her sisters- Belva Walters, Rosa Murray, Eunice Holmes, Verdie Prevot, Fredna Thomas & Maude Johnson; her brothers- Lonas Johnson, Louis Johnson, Arthur Johnson & Anthony Johnson;  her granddaughter Nikia McKinley; and daughter in Law Veola McKinley.

Visitation will begin at 8:00am on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura.
