Funeral services for Anna Jean Carmouche of Marksville will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 beginning at 11am at St. John Congregational Baptist Church in Marksville. Visitation will take place that morning at the church from 9am until the time of service. Burial will commence in the St. John Congregational Baptist Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Anna Jean Carmouche, age 69, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the Grace Home in Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlton & Lorrine McIntosh Andrews; brothers, Louis Andrews & Kenneth Anthony Price; grandchild, Laken R. Lockwood. Anna worked as a janitor at Marksville Middle and High for many years and also worked as the supervisor of housekeeping at Colonial Nursing Home for over 20 years. She was a transportation driver and also a member of the St. John Baptist Church Congregational Choir in Marksville. In her spare time she loved to bargain shop at garage sales and the Salvation Army stores. She will be missed dearly by family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Snerling Lockwood, Jr., Johnathan Lockwood, James Lee Lockwood, & Roderick Ford all of Marksville; sisters, Donna Lewis of Marksville, Mary Lue Clark of Marksville, & Mary Sue Andrews of Pineville; brothers, Freddie Andrew of Marksville, Silton Barron of Lafayette, Eric Andrews of Marksville, & Nolan Lavalais of Marksville. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, & extended family members.
