Funeral services for Annie Marie Jackson of Simmesport will be held at the Simmesport United Pentecostal Church on Thursday, November 19, 2009, beginning at 12:00pm. Visitations will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, beginning at 4:00pm and will last all evening, until 10:30am on Thursday. Visitations will resume at the Simmesport United Pentecostal Church on Thursday morning at 11:00am until time of the service. Graveside service will take place at the Simmesport United Pentecostal Cemetery. Annie Jackson, age 62, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital on Tuesday, November 17, 2009. She is preceded in death by her; husband, Joe Jackson, Sr.; son, Gregory Wayne Jackson; parents, Carlton Ellie Walters Comeaux. She is survived by her; daughter, Tammy Jackson Laborde of Simmesport; sons, Stewart Jackson, Sr. of Simmesport, Joe Jackson, Jr. of Simmesport; sisters, Theresa Hess of Simmesport, Joyce Ward of Simmesport, Georgia Dauzat of Mansura, Bertha Juneau of Poland; brother, George Comeaux of Bunkie. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be; Joe Jackson, Jr., Stewart Jackson, Sr., Derrick Ward, Shang Jackson, Cody Jackson, Caleb Jackson. Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
