Funeral services for Anthony Block Lavalais, Sr. of Mansura will take place at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura on Saturday, June 11, 2011, beginning at 11:00am. Visitations will also take place at the funeral home, beginning on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 5:00pm until 10:00pm and will resume Saturday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
Anthony Lavalais, Sr., age 52, passed away at his home on Friday, June 3, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther Beatrice James Lavalais. He is survived by his sons, Julius Ford of Albuquerque, NM, Anthony Bobby Lavalais, Jr. of Mansura daughter, Angelica Jacobs of Mansura brothers, Michael Lavalais of Moreauville, Donald Lavalais, Clyde Lavalais, Patrick Lavalais, Richard Lavalais, all of Mansura two stepgrandchildren and friend, Angela Jacobs of Mansura.
