Anthony Desselle

Services for Anthony Desselle, age 70 of Moreauville will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at the Christian Family Worship Center in Mansura with Brother Mark Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery of Moreauville under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Moreauville. Mr. Desselle died Tuesday, May, 2009 at LSU Medical Center of Shreveport. He was preceded in death by his son, Cory Desselle; father, Augustine Desselle; and mother, Evelyn Coincon Desselle. Survivors include his daughters, Carla Desselle Vidrine of Moreauville and Cindy Gaspard of Lettsworth; son, Anthony Tony Desselle of Moreauville; sister, Pauline Mayeux of Moreauville; special friend, Mary Pye Newell; seven grandchildren, Mike Gaspard, Velvette Gaspard, Amber Sayer, Alayna Desselle, Garrett Desselle, Joseph Desselle, Riley Desselle; one great-grandchild, Vance Gaspard. Visitation will be at Escude Funeral Home of Moreauville from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. May 6, 2009, with a Christian wake service at 6 p.m. Visitation will re-open the following day at 8 a.m.
