Anthony Johnson

Anthony Walker Johnson entered into Gods presence on Thursday,November 20, 2014, at Riviere De Soleil Community Care Center in Mansura, La. Anthony was born January 27, 1929 to Walker and Eugenia Johnson.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Theresa Augustine on November 8, 1950. They were blessed with 64 years of marriage.
Anthony enrolled in the U.S. Army in 1951 and he served his country for 3 years. He worked in construction for about 15 years and was employed at the valve plant in Mansura, La. for 7 years.
Anthony was baptized into the Catholic faith and attended Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Mansura, La. where he accepted Christ at an early age.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife of 64 years Theresa Johnson, one 1 son Daiman Johnson of Harbor, California one 1 sister Anita J. Mckinley of Mansura, La., three 3 grandchildren and one 1 great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walker and Eugenia Johnson, five 5 sisters, Eunice Holmes, Verdie Prevot, Belva Walters, Rosa Murray and Maude Johnson three 3 brothers, Arthur, Louis and Lonas Johnson.
