Anthony Lambert

Funeral services for Anthony "Do" Lambert of Hessmer will take place at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Hessmer on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 beginning at 10:00am with Fr. Edwin Rodriguez-Hernandez officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a rosary at 6:30pm. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Mausoleum. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Anthony Lambert, age 89, passed away at the Colonial Nursing Home on Sunday, March 13, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jannel Mayeux Lambert; parents, Telesphore & Adele Normand Lambert; daughter, Margaret Mayeux; son-in-law, Ronald Mayeux; sisters, Alice Guillory, Pearl Slocum, Rita Slocum, Aline Normand, Irma Armand, and Daisy Aymond; brothers, Maurice, Amet, Sr., and Lloyd.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Vicki Douglas & husband John; grandchildren, Eric Mayeux & wife Lisa, Jill Paul & husband John, Toni Dubroc & husband Randy, Kipp Mayeux & wife Jennalyn, and Warren Douglas; great-grandchildren, Tory Mayeux, Ryne Mayeux, Tyler Gagnard, Zelia Mayeux, and Allyson Douglas; and his great-great-grandchild, Emalynn Margaret Mayeux.
