Anthony Kermit Lemoine
Funeral services for Anthony Kermit Lemoine will be held on Wednesday December 16, 2015 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Moreauville. Visitation will be held Tuesday December 15, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville. A rosary will be recited Tuesday night at 6:30 and the funeral home will re-open Wednesday at 8:00a.m.
Anthony Kermit Lemoine of Moreauville passed away on December 13, 2015 at Riviere de Soleil Community Care Center in Mansura.
Mr. Lemoine, 79 and a lifelong resident of Moreauville was born April 20, 1936. He was a farmer; he was owner operator of a trucking company hauling corn, beans and sweet potatoes; he was a security officer, retiring from the LA Department of Corrections. He was also Assistant Chief of Security at Avoyelles Parish Sheriff's Department for five years, and Security Supervisor at Allen Canning for ten years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curry Lemoine Sr. and Agnes Bordelon Lemoine and brother Curry Lemoine, Jr.
He is survived by his wife Joanne Roy Lemoine of Moreauville; daughters, Antoinette Lemoine of Hessmer, Melissa Lemoine Gaspard (Gary) of Moreauville and Cheryl Lemoine (Steven Gunn) of Moreauville; grandchildren, Logan Bordelon, Lane Gaspard and Kimber Bordelon.
Pallbearers will be, Gary Gaspard, Steven Gunn, Logan Bordelon, Lane Gaspard, Eddie Lemoine and Gavin Lemoine.
