Memorial services for Antoinette Bowie of Marksville will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 beginning at 10am at the Escude Funeral Home in Mansura. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 beginning at 9am until 10am at the Escude Funeral Home in Mansura. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Antoinette Bowie, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Alexander, Jr. & Alternette Francisco Alexander; brothers, Berkil Ray Alexander & Donald "Don-o" Alexander.
Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Rhonda Bowie of Marksville and Nicole Thomas of Baton Rouge; son, Gary Bowie of Marksville; grandchildren: Antoinette "Toot" Ariza, Arlando "AJ" Ariza, Jamal Thomas, and Izaiah "Doodie" Bowie; great-grandchildren: Autumn "Bug" Ariza, Kelly "Pap" Ariza, Ashton "Burps" Ariza; sisters, Carol A. Williams, Marsha A. Jackson, Myrtle A. Lavalais all of Marksville, Clarease A. Bonton of Evergreen; brothers, David Glenn Alexander and Cleo Francis Alexander both of Marksville.
