Burial services for Ardene Marie Gabriel of Moreauville will take place at the Garden of Memories in Metairie on Friday, August 24, 2012, beginning at 2:00pm with Rev. Bobby Cazelot officiating the service. Ardene Gabriel, age 74, passed away at the Valley View Nursing Home of Marksville on Tuesday, August 21, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin Anna Michel Deshotel daughter, Donna J. Gabriel grandchild, Kenneth Gabriel and several brothers sisters. She is survived by her children, Brenda Gabriel Bordelon and husband, Amos of Bordelonville, Robert A. Gabriel and wife Elizabeth of Hammond brothers, Lionel Deshotel and wife, Sandra of Fairport, NY, Sims Scallan of Metairie. She is also survived by her three grandchildren six greatgrandchildren.
