Avrel Jeansonne

Funeral services for Avrel Avy Dale Jeansonne of Plaucheville will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 beginning at 11am at the Immaculate Conception Church in Dupont. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the Escud Funeral Home in Cottonport beginning at 5pm until 10pm and will resume Tuesday morning at 8am. Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Avrel Dale Jeansonne, age 67, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Ella Mae Gaspard Jeansonne. Avrel was a business owner as an electrician and as a fisherman. He was also a Freemason and part of the Electrician Union.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Evelyn Alcala Jeansonne his daughters: Amber Johnson and Aislinn Johnson, both of Dupont, and Tessie Johnson of New Orleans and best friend and soninlaw, Vance Bordelon.
