Funeral services for Barbara Dufour Deshotel of Morrow will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015 beginning at 9am at St. Charles Catholic Church in Goudeau with Fr. Bartholemew Ibe officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 beginning at 5pm until 8pm at Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport and will resume Thursday morning at 8am at St. Charles Catholic Church. Burial will be held at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Barbara Dufour Deshotel, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Bayou Chateau Nursing Home in Simmesport. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clovis & Lillie Lossior Dufour; husband, Joseph E. Deshotel, Jr.; & step-grandchild: Paula Noto.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Wanda Deshotel Noto and husband Frank, Sr. of Liberty, MS; sister, Minnie Ortego of Goudeau; grandson, Lance Ducote of Louisiana; step-grandchild, Frank Noto, Jr.
