Funeral services for Barbara Jean Benjamin Washington of Cottonport will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 beginning at 11am at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport with Fr. Jos RoblesSanchez officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 beginning at 8am until 11am at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport. Burial will be at the Golden Chain Cemetery in Cottonport. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home. Mrs. Barbara J. Washington, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at the Grace Home of Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her husband Milton Washington, Jr. her parents, William, Sr. Gladys Benjamin her brothers, William Benjamin, Jr. and Morel Benjamin. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Dominica Washington of Cottonport and her brothers, Russell Benjamin, Michael Benjamin, Andrew Benjamin, and Willie Benjamin all of Cottonport. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven greatgrandchildren, and extended family.
