Funeral services for Barney Gagnard of Cottonport will take place at the Pentecostals of Cottonport Church of Cottonport on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, beginning at 10:00am. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, from 5:00pm until time of service on Wednesday. Burial services will commence at the St. Marys Cemetery 2.
Barney Gagnard, age 67, passed away at the Veterans Hospital of Pineville on Monday, March 4, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel, Sr. Zoie Hayes Gagnard brothers, Daniel Gagnard, Jr., Ray Gagnard, Ora Coon Gagnard sisters, Vallie Franks, Jeanette Mose, Lizzie DeDe Lachney. He is survived by his wife, Gilda Gagnard of Cottonport daughter, Dana Nichols Johhny of Cottonport sister, Nola Bernard Irvin of Marksville brothers, Alvis Gagnard Vallie of Center Point, Benny Joe Gagnard Vivian of Marksville, Denny Winky Gagnard Louise of Hessmer. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, one greatgrandchild with another on the way.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
