Funeral services for Barney Louis Simon, Jr. of Moreauville will be held on Monday, February 9, 2015 beginning at 11an at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2015 beginning at 8am until 11am at the Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville. Interment will be held at the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Moreauville. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Barney L. Simon, Jr., age 76, passed away at his home on February 8, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney L. Simon, Sr. & Lola Armand Simon; sisters, Margaret Rogers and Beverly Lemonie; and brother, Gerard Simon.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shirley Desselle Simon of Moreauville, his son, Dwayne (Raquel) Simon of Moreauville; daughter, Jill Soldani of Moreauville; sisters, Nelda Simon of Simmesport and Myra Gremillion of Plaucheville; brother, Clarence Simon of Eunice. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Sheli Simon, Mason Simon, Mariellen Simon, Cody Soldani, Katie Soldani, & Annagrace Simon; and two great-grandchildren, Braxton Barnes & Grayson Barnes.
