Belton Bordelon

Belton Joseph Bordelon, 88, a longtime resident of Lettsworth, LA died June 25, 2015 at Bayou Chateau Nursing Center in Simmesport, LA after a lengthy illness. Services will be held at Christ the King Catholic church in Simmesport on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 1pm with Monsignor Dwight de Jesus officiating. Entombment will follow in Christ The King Mausoleum under the direction of Escude Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11am until the time of services.
Mr. Bordelon was preceded in death by his parents Florian and Francis Bordelon, his son; Terry Bordelon Sr., brothers; Curtis Sr., Forrest Sr., L.J., Jessie, Calvin, J.B., Rilan, and his sister, Leitha Smith.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter; Diane Foreman and husband James of Crosby, MS; son, Burton Bordelon and wife Kathy of Lettsworth, daughter Wanda Bordelon of Lettsworth, daughter-in-law; Donna Bordelon of Lettsworth, six grandchildren; Angie Viars of Pineville, Melissa Lindsly and husband Todd of Hamburg, Jennifer Lambuth and husband Shane of Natchez, MS, Terry Bordelon Jr. of Lettsworth, Lacey Johnson and fiance' Scott Ducote of Hessmer, Bryan Bordelon and fiance' Lauren Theriot of Lettsworth, twelve great-grandchildren; Brandi Rabalais of Pineville, Casey Smith and husband Erik of Lafayette, Emily Rabalais and husband Jordan of Plaucheville, Jon Bordelon and fiance' Lacey Valois of Simmesport, Tristan Bordelon of Hamburg, Reagen Bordelon and Alyssa Bordelon of Simmesport, Mallory Johnson of Hessmer, Lauren Lambuth and Allison Lambuth of Natchez, MS, Morgan Bordelon and Marissa Bordelon of Lettsworth, two step great-grandchildren; Cole Lindsly and Mason Lindsly of Hamburg. Two great-great-grandchildren; Olivia Rabalais of Plaucheville and Hudson Bordelon of Simmesport. One sister; Helen Moreau and husband Abner Moreau Sr. of Lettsworth, brother; OG Bordelon of Baytown, TX,
Pallbearers: Terry Bordelon Jr., Bryan Bordelon, Jon Bordelon, Tristan Bordelon, James Foreman and Todd Lindsly. Crossbearer; Alyssa Bordelon.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bayou Chateau Nursing Center in Simmesport and All Saints Hospice in Marksville.
