Funeral services for Bennett Paul Mills, Jr. of Hessmer will take place in the Escude Funeral Home Chapel, Mansura on Friday, February, 7, 2014 at 10:30am with Father Edwin Rodriguez officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00pm until midnight Thursday, February 6, 2014 and from 7:00am Friday morning until time of service. Graveside services will follow immediately after the funeral service in the St. Alphonse Church Cemetery in Hessmer.
Mr. Mills, age 85, passed away at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria on Wednesday, February 05, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Mills parents, Bennett, Sr. and Erma Roy Mills brother, Ludger Mills and a sister, Jennie Mae Fruge. He is survived by two brothers, Roy Mills of Myrtle Grove and Ray Mills of Hessmer sister Mevelyn Comeaux of Hessmer and numerous nieces, nephews friends and relatives.
