Berley Firmin, Sr

Funeral services for Berley Antoine Firmin, Sr. of Alexandria will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dupont at 11:00am. Visitation will also be held at the church beginning that morning at 9:00am until the time of service. A rosary will be held before the funeral service at 10:15am. Officiating clergy over the service will be Daniel Firmin. Entombment will take place in the Immaculate Conception Mausoleum. Berley Firmin, Sr, age 92, passed away Friday, May 25, 2009 at the Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Home. He is preceded in death by his; parents, Alfred Gaston Azilda Duplechin Firmin; wife, Doris Guillot Firmin; son, Patrick Firmin. He is survived by his; sons, Michael James Firmin of Augusta, GA, Randal Charles Firmin of Pearland, TX, Berley Antoine Firmin, II of Lacombe, LA, Jonathon Dean Firmin of Shreveport, LA; sister, Lou Ann Gamey of Bodoc, LA. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren six great-grandchildren. Funeral services and arrangements are under the directions of Escude Funeral Home of Mansura.
