Funeral services for Bernadette Guice of Marksville will take place at Holy Ghost Catholic Church of Marksville on Saturday, January 19, 2013, beginning at 10am. Visitation will also take place at Holy Ghost on Saturday beginning at 8am. Burial will be at Holy Ghost Catholic Cemetery of Marksville.
Bernadette Guice, age 53, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2013 at Avoyelles Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father Lucas Guice her sister Regina Guice Greenhouse.
Those left to cherish her memory, her mother, Dorthea Guice of Marksville six sisters, Velita Guice Benjamin Leonard of Zachary, LA, Connie Guice St. Romain of Marksville, LA, Mary Guice Wilson SherRay of Monroe, LA, Dr. Ophelia Guice of Atlanta, GA, Anna Guice Ferraro Perry of Atlanta, GA, Jannis Guice Smith Bruce of Monroe, LA three brothers, John Guice Patricia of Atlanta, GA, Joseph Guice of Monroe, LA, Van Guice Ruth of Bunkie, LA. She is also survived by Aunt Dora Mae Bacon Martel, Aunt Clara Martin, Aunt Ethel Lee Guice, Uncle Burnell Guillot Rose, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives friends.
