Funeral services for Bernice Gauthier of Cottonport will take place at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Monday, August 9, 2010, beginning at 10:00am. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport on Sunday, August 8, 2010, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Monday morning at 8:00am. A rosary will be recited at 7:00pm Sunday evening, and burial services will commence at the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
Bernice Gauthier, age 83, passed away at the Bayou Vista Nursing Home of Bunkie on Saturday, August 7, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harris Gauthier, daughter, Mary Ann Moreau son, Johnny Gauthier brothers, Houston Lemoine, Burton Lemoine sisters, Ruth Lemoine, Frieda Lemoine parents, Arthur Lemoine Rosie Mae Lemoine. She is survived by her grandchildren, Mitzi Moreau, Dane Moreau, Travis Gauthier brothers, Steve Lemoine of Evergreen, Cubert Lemoine of Moreauville, Arthur Lemoine of Bunkie sisters, Janice Gauthier of Marksville, Geneva Lemoine of Marksville, Ethel Bacon of Bunkie, Judy Daigrepont of Prairieville.
Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
