Funeral services for Bertha Bordelon of Moreauville will take place at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Moreauville on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 beginning at 11:00am with Fr. Marc Noel officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Moreauville Tuesday morning at 7:30am with a rosary service at 10:00am. Burial will commence at the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
Bertha Bordelon, age 81, passed away at Valley View Nursing Home of Marksville on Saturday, January 17, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Bordelon; grandson, Kevin Lemoine; parents, Oscar & Anita Mayeux; brother, Daniel Mayeux; sisters, Lessie Bordelon, Irene Dufour, & Ruth Robin. She is survived by her children, Claudette Lemoine (Michael), Katherine Soldani (Dan), & Gilbert Bordelon (Pat), all of Moreauville; brother, Ronald Mayeux of Athens, TN. She is also survived by her six grandchildren & fifteen great-grandchildren.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
