Betty Bordelon

Funeral Mass for Betty Bordelon of Simmesport will take place at the Christ the King Catholic Church of Simmesport on Thursday, June 13^th, 2024 beginning at 11:00am with Rev. Kurian Zachariah officiating. Burial will take place at the Christ the King Catholic Cemetery.

Betty Bordelon, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, June 11^th, 2024 at the Rivière de Soleil Community Care Center of Mansura.
 
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Cynthia Lemoine (Alton) of Moreauville and Brian Bordelon (Kristi) of Simmesport; her 6 grandchildren, Amanda Lemoine (Jason), Lacy Normand (Joshua), B. J. Bordelon (Claire), Blake Bordelon (Amber), Bailey Bordelon (Junior), and Kayla Laborde (Chance); and her 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Freda Scallan, Rose Matranga, Joyce Lambert, Pat Couvillion, and Ronnie Bernard. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Numa Bordelon; parents, Whitney & Adele Bordelon Bernard; and her siblings, Ethel Bordelon, Helen Bernard, and Milburn Bernard. 

Visitation will begin at 8:00am to 10:45am on Thursday, June 13^th, 2024 at the Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport. The holy rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 10:30am.
