Funeral services for Betty Ann Roy of Hessmer will take place on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Hessmer beginning at 11:00am with Fr. Edwin Rodriguez officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura on Monday, September 22, 2014 from 5:00pm to 11:00pm and will resume on Tuesday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery.
Betty Roy, age 76, passed away at the Rapides Regional Medical Center of Alexandria on Sunday, September 21, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Roy son, Johnny Roy parents, Edwin Lena Guillory aunt uncle, Adolph Blanche Guillory. She is survived by her children, Cynthia Vead Dale, David Roy Shirlene, both of Hessmer, Joey Roy Royalann of Mansura, Celia Juneau Rickey, Lisa Mose Neil both of Hessmer, Elizabeth Gauthier Joey of Mansura, Kathy Smith Scott of Hessmer daughterinlaw, Elaine Roy of Bunkie sister, Juliette Gauthier of Hessmer. She is also survived by her twentythree grandchildren eighteen greatgrandchildren.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
