Blaine Paul Valois

Funeral Mass for Blaine Valois of Cottonport will take place at the St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Monday, June 12, 2023, beginning at 11:00am with Rev. John Wiltse officiating. Burial will take place at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Hessmer.

Blaine Valois, age 64, passed away at the Rapides Regional Hospital of Alexandria on Wednesday, June 7^th, 2023.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Debra Valois; children, Misty Valois of Cottonport, Taylor Valois of Slidell, and Cole Valois of Cottonport; brothers, Dwaine Valois (Lisa)  of Marksville, Dickie Valois of Marksville, and Sandy Valois of Donaldsonville; sister, Leslie Valois of Bunkie; grandchildren; Carson Gagnard, Jincy Armand; his mother-in-law, Shirley Leblanc; brother-in-law, Donald Maddox (Connie), his sisters-in-law; Christine Lemoine, and Melissa Maddox.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Valois Jr. of Mansura: his mother, Patricia Valois of Mansura; and his father-in-law, Alvin Leblanc.  

Visitation will begin from 4:00pm to 10:00pm at Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport with a rosary at 7:00pm on Sunday, June 11, 2023, and reopen at 8:00am on Monday morning.
