Blane Lachney

Funeral services for Blane Mark Lachney of Cottonport will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014 beginning at 11am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Marc Noel officiating. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 beginning from 5pm to 10pm with a rosary at 6pm in the Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville and will resume on Thursday morning at 8:00am.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Blane Lachney, age 49, passed away peacefully at his home in Cottonport on Sunday, September 21, 2014. He retired from the Department of Corrections after 27 years of service. In his spare time he loved to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Landry Mamie Rabalais Coco paternal grandparents, Aldolph Odelia Lachney.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Victor Irma Coco Lachney of Moreauville his fianc, Amber Ricaud of Cottonport daughters, Hannah Lachney of Plaucheville adopted sons, Warren Lachney of Angola and Rick Lachney of Madison, MS granddaughter, Raley Lachney of Madison, MS sister, Kathy Lachney of Plaucheville.
