Funeral services for Bobbie Jean Augustine will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the Starlight Baptist Church in the Hickory Community. Visitation will also be held at the church that morning from 8:00am to 11:00am. Arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home of Mansura.
Bobbie Jean, age 63, of Hickory Hill passed away at Avoyelles Hospital on Thursday, August 7, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father, Steven Ford one daughter, Rachel Denise Augustine one sister, Bertha Jacobs and one brother Murray Ford. She is survived by her exhusband, Delton Augustine, Sr. mother, Elnora King five daughters: Samantha Ervin Young of Marksville, Tracy Alfred Hall of Bunkie, Janice Charles Blackmon of Alexandria, Bernadette Mark Leduff of Alexandria, Kimberly Xavier Boyd of Marksville four sons: Delton Augustine, Jr. of Marksville, Christopher Verlyncia Augustine of Marksville, Fredrick Augustine of Marksville 21 grandkids, 4 stepgrandkids, 14 stepgreatgrandkids and 8 stepgreatgreatgrandkids three brothers, Lonnie Ray Ford of Monroe, Cartwell Newton of California, Calvin Harris of California and four sisters, Connie Ford of Alexandria, Lenora Augustine of Marksville, and Carmen Newton of California, and Brenda Harris of Texas.
