Funeral services for Bobby Barone of Lettsworth will be held on Saturday July 28, 2018 beginning at 11am at the Grace Community Church in McCrea with Pastor Larry Thibodeaux officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 beginning at 5pm until 10pm and will resume Saturday morning at 8am at the church. Burial will be held at Big Bend Baptist Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Bobby Barone, age 81, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. He was retired from boilermaking and GNG Farms. He loved gardening and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Barone; parents, Rosaline & Joe Barone; sister, Barbara Gaspard; grandson, Christopher Ramsey.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Annette (Kent) Lemoine of Lettsworth; Konnie (Tim) Bowman of Lettsworth, and Angela (Jeff) Ramsey of Batchelor; brother, Roland Barone; sister, Loraine Earles; nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
