Brenta Ducote

Funeral services for Brenta Ducote of Cottonport will take place at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Sunday, January 15, 2012, beginning at 12:00pm. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport on Saturday, January 14, 2012, from 5:00pm to 11:00pm and will resume at 8:00am Sunday morning. Burial services will commence at the St. Mary Catholic Mausoleum 2.
Brenta Ducote, age 96, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital of Marksville on Friday, January 13, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Toot Ducote parents, William Mathilde Falcon Landry and seven sisters two brothers. She is survived by her children, Bobby Ducote and wife Ruth of Cottonport, Willie Ducote of Plaucheville, Jo Ann Tubre of Baton Rouge, Susan Plauche husband Raymond of Cottonport sister, Bella Gauthier of New Orleans and also ten grandchildren sixteen greatgrandchildren.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
