Memorial graveside for Bret Edward Baudin of Bordelonville will begin at 11:00am on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at St. Peter's Mausoleum in Bordelonville with Fr. Paul Kunnumpuram officiating.
Bret Baudin, age 60, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at his home in Bordelonville. Bret was a talented singer, songwriter, and recording artist who dedicated his life to bringing joy to all who had the pleasure of hearing him perform. His passion for music blossomed at a young age, and in college he played in the marching band at Northwestern Demons. Bret went on to establish his own band, Raising Cain, where he served as the founder, lead singer and guitarist. Known for their energetic live shows and infectious music, the band captivated audiences far and wide, leaving an indelible mark on the local music scene.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patricia S. Baudin; mother, Gayle Juneau; children, Justine (Kenneth) Kelone; Hanlin Creekkiller, Corey Creekkiller, Charli Creekkiller, Raven Sayer; sister, Carla Arnouville; brothers, Brady Baudin and Kendell Juneau. He is also survived by grandchildren: Kenneth “Ray” Kelone, III, Lorelei “Rori” Kelone; Araya Sayer, Layla Creekkiller, Hanlin Creekkiller, Cherokee Creekkiller, Adilyn Creekkiller, Arianna Creedkiller, Kianne Sayer, and Lita Sayer.
