Funeral services for Bruce Hukins, Jr. of Simmesport will take place at the First Baptist Church of Simmesport on Friday, July 15, 2011, beginning at 10:00am. Visitations will also be held at the church on Thursday, July 14, 2011, from 5:00pm until time of services. Burial services will commence at the First Baptist Cemetery.
Bruce Hukins, Jr., age 41, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2011. He is preceded in death by his father, Bruce Hukins, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Shelley Boudreaux Hukins of Simmesport children, Lance Hukins of Denham Springs, Kelley and husband Jake Waskom of Franklin, Sarah Hukins, Bruce Hukins, III, Mia Hukins, all of Simmesport mother, Elaine Ducote Hukins of Cottonport brother, Chad Hukins of Hessmer, sister, Sheila Sherry Aymond of Marksville.
