Funeral services for Buernetta Gail Norman will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Escude’ Funeral Home of Simmesport with Pastor Larry Thibodeaux officiating. Burial will follow in the Grace Community Church Cemetery in McRae.

Buernetta Gail Norman, 72 and a resident of Simmesport, passed away on Friday, January14, 2022 in Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville,

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roger Dale Adams and her second husband Irby Norman; parents, Henry Bethal Rineheart and Francis Williams Rineheart; sisters, Millie Rineheart, Sadie Rineheart Lewis, Lorena Wilbert, and Alfreta Lafleur; brothers, Louis Rineheart (Poochum), Johnny Rineheart, Ray Rineheart, Irvin Rineheart (Whiskers), Russell Jaames Rineheart, Claude Rineheart, Roger D. Rineheart, Lil Charlie Rineheart and Stanly Rineheart.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Lisa Adams of Simmesport, Ricky Adams (Dacia) of Yellow Bayou; sisters, Sally Maddie of Woodside, and Gloria Rinehart of Simmesport; grandchildren, Nicholas, Cameron, Tyler and Conner; adopted daughter, Cecele Hess Bordelon and her daughter Kristian Denny.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service in Escude’ Funeral Home of Simmesport.
