Byron Ducote

A memorial mass for Byron Banana Ducote will be held at 1pm on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport with Fr. Jos RoblesSanchez officiating. Visitation will be held at Escud Funeral Home in Cottonport on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 5pm until 10pm and on Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 10am until 12:30pm. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Banana as he was known to his many friends passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, December 4, 2014, at the age of 66, at his residence in Cottonport.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Schoonover Ducote one daughter, Hope Ducote Chenevert Troy Chenevert of Plaucheville two sons, Jared Ducote fianc Tara Rozas of Cottonport and Keith Ducote Natalie P. Ducote of Natchitoches five grandchildren, Abby Ducote, Ethan Ducote, Logan Chenevert, Allie Ducote, and Charlee Ann Ducote two brothers, Russell Ducote Debbie of Greenville, Texas and Phillip Carrots Ducote Brenda of Cottonport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sanford Lorraine Ducote.
Byron had a passion for farming and carpentry. He loved spending time with his many friends and family.
