Services for Cain Patrick Ducote of Baton Rouge will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at St. Pauls Catholic Church in Mansura with Father Chad Partain officiating. Arrangements under the direction of Escude Funeral Home, Mansura. Cain Patrick Ducote, age 21, died February 17, 2008 in his residence in Baton Rouge. Cain was born and raised in Mansura, graduated from Avoyelles High in 2005 and was a Junior at LSU in Baton Rouge. Our Beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend whom we cherish and love and have always adored, we pray that we meet in eternal bliss to do things we loved so much - playing basketball, eating Mama's rice and gravy, wrestling, arguing politics, and fiddling with your favorite passion, the internet. We long to see that familiar bright twinkle in your eyes. You will remain eternally in our hearts and fond memories - Your Loving Family He is survived by his parents, Neil and Liz Ducote of Mansura; two sisters, Eden Elizabeth Ducote and Faith Theresa Ducote both of Mansura; paternal grandmother, Narcille Lacour Ducote of Cottonport; maternal grandmother, Jane Mayeux of Mansura; Godfather, Craig Gauthier; God mother, Marie Guillot; He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Arthur Van Ducote and maternal grandfather, Joseph A. Mayeux. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. with a Wake service at 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Escude Funeral Home, Mansura and re-open at 8 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
